Hand hygiene is as important to the good health of other age groups as it is to older adults.

Older adults can age successfully by making choices that help to prevent illness and disease.

Drug and alcohol abuse are among the fastest growing health problems among older adults.

Many older adults remain and wish to continue being sexually active.

Skin changes with increasing age but older adults can take steps to ensure healthy skin.

Immunization is for older adults, too, as some vaccines received in childhood and beyond wear off over time.

Older adults are at greater risk for falls and problems related to falls.

Depression among older adults is common but it is not a natural progression of aging.

Anyone at any age can experience abuse but older adults are particularly vulnerable.

Prescription drugs misuse or abuse is increasing among older adults and with serious medical consequences.
